About Key Note Speaker, Jen Brumfield
Jen eagerly combines her passions for extreme birding, field studies, outdoor education and detailed scientific illustration into a truly “wild” career. She passionately offers thrilling public and school programs park-wide. Since 2005 she’s written and illustrated seven field guides to the flora and fauna of Cleveland Metroparks. She composed over 100 dragonfly and damselfly illustrations for the second edition of The Dragonflies and Damselflies of Northeast Ohio. As a young birder, she participated in American Birding Association young birder programs and was named ABA Young Birder of the Year in 1998.
