Harlequin Duck: Cook Co (North): 1 has been reliable for more than a month now at the traditional location of North Avenue Beach. Try looking from the chess pavilion just South of the main parking lot. It was last seen on 1/15/10 (Joe Lill).

Long-tailed Duck: Shelby Co (Central) - 1 female was seen above the dam at Lake Shelbyville on 1/17/10 (Travis Mahan).

Ruby-crowned Kinglet: Kendall Co (North) - 1 has been coming to a suet feeder on private property in Oswego for more than 2 weeks now. It was last seen on 1/17/10 (Mary Robbins).

Varied Thrush: Lake Co (North) - 1 was seen on private property in Lake Bluff on 1/12/10 (Tim Joyce). Ogle Co (North) - 1 has been seen at Anne Straight's residence in Forreston for about a month now. However, in the past 5 days it has not been sighted again. It was last seen on 1/14/10 (Anne Straight).

Ovenbird: Cook Co (North) - 1 has been at Chevalier Forest Preserve in Harwood Heights for more than a month now. It was last seen on 1/18/10 (Alan Anderson). It is usually seen near the bird feeders on the North/South path East of the third pavilion in the Northern portion of the preserve.
